NOTE: All foundations which are not standard will be designed specifically for each situation. We will happily discuss any special requirements and provide information on request.
Structural Notes
Concrete compressive strength (fc) shall be 25 MPa at 28 days. Materials and workmanship shall be in accordance with NZS 3109:1997. Concrete placement and curing in cold weather shall be in accordance with the recommendation from ACI 306-66.
A 200mm minimum layer of well compacted cement stabilised AP40 fill is to be placed under the concrete pad.
Steelwork to be hot dip galvanised after fabrication to AS/NZS 4680:2006.
Reinforcement bars shall comply with NZS 3109:1997. 'R' denotes grade 300 plain bar. 'D' denotes grade 300 deformed bar. 'RH' denotes grade 430 plain bar. 'DH' denotes grade 430 deformed bar. 'RH500' denotes grade 500 plain bar.
Provide duct for cable entry as required.
Minimum allowable soil bearing pressure shall be 100 kPa or as advised by a geotechnical assessment.
Contractor to provide orientation and location.
Only approved designed light fittings and attachments may be used (i.e. no additional attachments are to be fitted to any part of the pole without written approval from Spunlite Poles Ltd).
